I Hate The Media!!

What is up with all this celebrity bullshit encompassing our television. It goes way pass entertainment when Britney Spears is all over respected news programs. I hear or see something everyday worth more than Lindsay Lohan in rehab or Britney Spears' lack of maternal instincts. There are horrid, corrupt, unjust, yet fascinating and bewildering wonders in the world, not to mention here in the States. But, the biggest thing we refuse to see is how contemporary media and the government want us to pay attention to, and care about this foolishness, so we won't focus on the bigger issues. For instance, how America is slowly but surely becoming a dictatorship, or how we as young people are dying in a war that has nothing to with 9/11 and everything to do with big business. Am I the only one that rather hear about the progress in Darfur or the blatant racism my people continue to face everyday in the the supposed 21st century?? They (They meaning those who put Bush in office as their drone and own the media), are distracting us from the real issues and repeatedly use their power to portray others (Iran and whoever else they hate at the time), as the evil. Just because They have control issues? I don't know about you, but I do not want to continue to trust these assholes with my life and. We the People need to recognize how They distract us from the real issues like education, poverty, AIDS, and feed us advertisements of themselves as "the land of the free and home of the brave". You are not brave if the people you lead are dying in your fight for domination. In fact, it is cowardly! We as a people need to be brave because our freedoms are being infringed upon everyday. In this marketed America, freedom and bravery are nothing more than slogans. And the media is nothing more than propaganda and foolish celebrity bullshit.
